James Wayne Tippit, 73 of Clarksville passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019.
Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 at Dotsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Herron and Rev. Herbert McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at Dotsonville Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Tippit family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service at the church.
Wayne was born December 25, 1945 in Stewart Co. He was a member of Dotsonville Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Tippit; sons, James (Sandy) Tippit, Charles (Melinda) Tippit, and Billy (Leigh Anne) Tippit; step-sons; DJ (Marie) Tapp, Curtis Tapp, and Travis Tapp; step-daughter, Pauline (Allen) Tackett; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
