Obituary for Clyde "Jackie" Byrd
Clyde “Jackie” Byrd, age 76, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at his residence.
A Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. John Richardson officiating.
The Byrd family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m Monday, May 21, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Jackie entered into this life on June 10, 1941 in Clarksville, TN son of the late Clyde and Annis Byrd. He was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School and a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church. Jackie enjoyed camping, and loved time with his grandchildren. He formerly worked for Frosty Morn and later retired from Trane Company.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce Fulton Byrd; son, Christopher (Larci) Byrd; daughter, Jan (Ward) Suiter; sister, Donna (Orvil) Elrod; grandchildren, Bradly Ellis, Jordan Byrd, Brandon Byrd, and Allison Ellis; great-grandson, Wyatt Ellis.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Byrd, Jordan Byrd, Bradly Ellis, Fulton Wilson, Ward Suiter, and Donald Velez.
