Obituary for Bill Brake
William C. "Bill" Brake, age 89, passed away on August 13, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be rendered.
His family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Bill entered into this life on April 12, 1928 in Houston County, Tennessee to the late Clyde Brake, Sr. and Kate Mathis Brake. He formerly worked as a foreman at Moore Construction Co. Bill was a Baptist and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia "Genny" Schmidt Brake, and his siblings, Clyde Brake, Jr., Louise Kennedy, Winky Milam, and Jewell Coulter. He is survived by his son, Mark C. Brake.
