Noah Eugene Metheny, age 91, of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Military Honors.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Noah was born on October 6, 1925, in Jackson, MO, the son of the late Noah Metheny and Alma Welch. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Wanda Maxine Metheny, and sister, Juanita Craig. He is a member of Hilldale Baptist Church and served in General Patton’s 3rd Army, 89th Division Infantry, in WWII.
He is survived by his son, Gary Eugene (Ruth) Metheny; daughter, Carol Ann Gyulai; grandchildren, Chandra Metheny, Aklia Metheny, and Stefeni Gyulai; sister, Alene Gales.
