Condolence: Dearest Janice and family,
Neal was the kind of person you are blessed to meet once in a lifetime.
He knew who he was, always true to himself, and loved God and his family.
He was an honest person, respected by his company, sales people, and those businesses he served. We were extra blessed when our son, Tom, was at Vanderbuilt, and so far from us, Neal and Janice were there for him; like a home away from home. His was a name our children grew up hearing,
and they all knew how highly he was treasured.
Please know we are with you in heart and Spirit, and will pray for all of you.
Neal left a beautiful legacy in Janice their children and grandchildren. The world is a better place because he left his mark.
Love always,
Rosemary & Lee

Condolence: To the Alsobrook family:

I have known Neal for over 40 years at Carter Products and the retirement years. It is apparent from the words of co-workers that Neal was a special individual in his work and family life.
I join all of them in expressing our sympathy in your loss. We will miss him. Both of us survived the longest at Carter in Field Sales and I can honestly say that no one was more respected than Neal. Until we all join him, Rest in Peace Brother.

Condolence: I knew Neal for 40+ years. We worked together at Carter Product Company. I respected Neal for his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. I respected Neal for his Christianity. He was a gentleman in every way. He extended his friendship with no expectations. We spoke on the phone and emailed a couple of times in December and January. Even though he knew how ill he was he was uplifting to me. May he rest in peace. God bless Janice and the children and grandchildren. My life is better for having know Neal.

Condolence: I first met Neal in the mid 60's, he was a buyer for a small wholesaler and I was a rookie salesman for Gillette. In common, we both had crew cuts and didn,t know come here from sic em.
Over the years we seemed destined to keep paths crossed. Our competition for Carter presentation contests was epic.
The good Lord must have needed a really outstanding salesman, Howard Neal , I am 81 and soon I will meet you again.

Condolence: Neal Alsobrooks was one of the finest men I had ever had the pleasure of meeting and being associated with. I came to know Neal when I became a Carter Wallace employee. I so admired everything about him. I live in California so really did not have a lot of contact with Neal but every time I did it was always a pleasure. A true gentleman, a kind man, a leader, a teacher& a friend to all that knew him. His family was so lucky to have him. He was a Jewel & a pretty darn good salesman. He is with God now. God Bless him. I hope one day to see him on the other side.

Condolence: Neal was definitely "one of the good guys". Like many of us at Carter Wallace, I had the pleasure of working both with and for Neal over the years. Neal always treated everyone with respect, and as a result, was highly respected by others. We will miss him. Angela and I send our condolences to Janice and all of Neal's family.

Condolence: To Janice and the Alsobrooks' family. Please accept Wendy and my condolences on the passing of Neal. We know your hearts are aching. Please know we are praying God will provide the comfort only He can provide. And, while you and we mourn loosing Neal, we also know you take joy (as we do) in knowing we will be together again.

So often family members only see a glimpse of how their love one impacts the people they work with. With that in mind, please let me share what I wrote (there could have been a whole lot more) to some of Neal’s co-workers at Carter.

Dear Old Friends,

In the event you may not have heard, our dear friend and Carter Products co-worker, Neal, passed last evening. Bob Terrell sent a Facebook message (copy below) this morning. Bob asked that it be forwarded to friends of Neal. We would all agree that everyone was a friend of Neal.

We all loved and respected Neal. Neal was an outstanding person, salesman, and manager. Neal was also an example of a man that loved God, his family, people, and loved his profession. And those qualities were apparent and visible in all that Neal said, did, and stood for.

Of all the special things we can remember about Neal (and there are many), we should always remember Neal’s laugh. Neal always engaged others with a genuine caring smile and hearty laugh. He was a joy to be with, and Neal made people feel better about themselves. We are all better people for having had Neal in our lives.

As my email address listing of the Carter Team is limited and outdated would you kindly share this sad news with others you may be connected with.

Greg
