Obituary for Garner Lee Morrison
Garner Lee Morrison, age 87 of Erin, TN, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Houston County Community Hospital.
Garner was born February 5, 1928 in Houston County, TN, son of the late Hershel and Mae Hudson Morrison. Mr. Morrison was retired Navy and a member of Wisdom Lodge # 300.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Nichols Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
The Morrison family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., and from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Survivors include his loving wife Virginia Nichols Morrison, three daughters Amy (Tom) Whitson, Vicki Edmands, Gail (Arthur) Keefe, two Sisters Goldie Milam, Bernice Alhorn, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
