Obituary for Billy Joe Bush
Billy Joe Bush, age 79 of Stewart, TN, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 after an extended illness.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Spurgeon officiating. Burial will follow in Bush Cemetery.
The Bush family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon.
Billy entered this life on September 5, 1935 in Houston County, TN, son of the late Mike and Ida Mae Bradley Bush. Billy was a faithful member of Elk Creek Baptist Church, was a mechanic where he worked for Triangle Motors, and drove a school bus for the Houston County School System for many several years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Caroline Bush, and son, Billy Joe Bush JR.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lulah Settles Bush; son, David Allen Bush; daughters, Sandra Robinson, Nettie Bush, Peggy Manners; step-son, David Adams; step-daughters, Sara Moon, Bernetta Eads, and Diane Adams. Billy is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and twenty seven great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
