Obituary for Mary Evelyn Herrell
Mary Evelyn Herrell, age 65, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her home in Cumberland Furnace with her family at her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in First Canaan Church Cemetery.
The Herrell family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Mary entered this life on September 15, 1949 in Cheatham County, Tennessee, daughter to the late Howard and Cora Mae Anderson Towe. She was a Baptist and a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, James Greene, Jr., Gloria Proctor, Jamie Ghent, and Mary Martinez; siblings, Jim Towe, Billy Towe, Geneva Herrera, Carol Pierson, and Leslie Towe; grandchildren, Billy Proctor, Jr., James Dustin Proctor, Anthony Michael McDonald, Britney Michelle McDonald, Christa Michelle Ghent, and Markesse Greene; and great-grandchildren, Suzzana Nicole Proctor and Carson Michael McDonald.
Pallbearers will be Billy Proctor, Jr., James Proctor, Anthony Michael McDonald, Jacob Jones, Randall English, Carl Rodgers, and Andy Rodgers.
