Obituary for Katherine Floe "Kathy" Seay

Katherine (Kathy) Floe Seay, of Stewart, TN, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at her home.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell, Rev. Beverly Dycus, and Rev. Denise Settle officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. immediately preceding the service. Private burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
Kathy is survived by her loving family; husband of forty one years, Fred Seay; daughter, Andrea Seay; sister, Caroline Goodgion; niece, DJ Babbitt; nephew, Dallon Babbitt; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rip and Carlene Seay and sister-in-law, Debbie Adams.
Kathy was born on January 3 in Clovis, New Mexico to the late Floyd and Gay Outlaw Goodgion. She was the granddaughter of the late Bud and Flossie Outlaw and Homer and Bessie Goodgion. Kathy graduated from Austin Peay State University and began her career as an educator in Clovis, New Mexico, where she taught for twenty-five years. Upon retirement in New Mexico, Kathy and Fred returned to Tennessee where she continued her career as a school guidance counselor for close to ten years. Kathy attended the Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was the pianist. She was a faithful servant of Christ, fiercely devoted to her family and loved to travel. She will be truly missed.
