Condolence: Joe's kindness and generosity were showered on everyone lucky enough to meet him, and his contributions to Clarksville/ Montgomery County, are too numerous to list here. A Father to so many of us who looked to Joe as an example of the right way to live. Joe's passing has created within me a new vision of Heaven. If I make it to the pearly gates and knock on the door, I am now sure the door will be opened by a smiling "Joe B. Downey, from Montgomery County"!

Condolence: My prayers and sincere sympathy go to all of you at this difficult time. Our families shared many bonds, not the least of which was the one between Joe and Bill. They had a lot of good times together and so many shared stories they loved to tell on each other. Wonderful memories!
