Ann Carolyn Tue, age 89, of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will follow at McDonald Cemetery in Houston County, TN.
The Tue family will receive friends on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Ann entered into this life on December 5, 1928 in Nashville, TN to the late Newton and Carolyn Partin Brown. She was employed with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System for over forty years and enjoyed her time as a teacher and the Librarian at Cumberland Heights Elementary School. Ann was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Clarksville, and both the Retired Teacher's Association and the Retired Librarian's Association.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Tue.
Survivors include her children, Carolyn Tue, Annadell (Greg) Robbins, and Jamie (Dina) Tue; four grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Andrew Robbins, Marley Tue, and Cooper Tue; great-grandchildren, Katie Smith, Kourtney Smith, and Christopher Smith.
