Marianne Hudson HayesVaughn, age 89, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at home.
Marianne was born on December 15, 1928 in Clarksville, TN daughter of the late James Marvin Hayes, Sr. and Anne Davis Hayes. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Dorman Duane (Gina) Vaughn, Jr. and Marvin Hayes Vaughn; brothers, James Marvin Hayes, Jr., Riggs Hayes, and William Hayes, and sisters, Frances Hayes Warren, Martha Hayes Bourne, and Betse Hayes Crain.
Survivors include her devoted husband of sixty-eight years, Dorman Duane Vaughn, Sr.; two daughters, Anne V. (Gary) Wallace of Bumpus Mills, TN, Millicent V. (Michael) Richard of Russellville, AL; four grandsons, Brian Ross (Jaime) Wallace, Clint Everett (Marlana) Wallace, Dorman Duane Vaughn, III, and Derek Elijah Vaughn, two great-grandsons, Everett Cole Wallace, and Levi James Wallace.
Marianne was owner of Hayes Moving and Storage, Inc. for forty years. She was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church and also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Marianne enjoyed camping, needle-work, bird watching, and being with her family.
The Vaughn family will receive friends Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 4 – 7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ross Wallace, Clint Wallace, Duane Vaughn, Derek Vaughn, Rett Wallace, Tom Vaughn, and Eddie Vaughn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
