Larry Gene Boling, age 69 of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the V.A. Hospital in Nashville, TN.
A Celebration of Life will be held 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 Friday evening at the Funeral Home. Mr. Boling will be laid to rest at Mayslick Cemetery in Mayslick, Ky. on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
Mr. Boling was born February 21, 1949; son of the late Kendall Boling and Martha Lou Alexander Muse.
Larry was retired from the U.S. Army, having served 20 years. He was a member of Park Lane Church of the Nazarene; he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman, bird hunter, enjoyed flying planes, and loved UK Basketball.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lynda Shepherd Boling; son, Lauren Clay (Amber) Boling; daughter, Leigh Anne (Walter) Rugen; sister, Kittye Redden; brothers, Garry Boling, Jackie Boling; grandchildren Victoria Rugen, Jacob Rugen, Wesley Rugen, Emily Boling, and Trevor Boling.
Pallbearers will be Walter Rugen, Jacob Rugen, Wesley Rugen, Trevor Boling, Matthew Doyle, Alfie Cheng, Brian Doyle and Jonathan Cain.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Bolings Sunday School Class from Park Lane Church of the Nazarene, Lauren Boling, Garry Boling, and Jackie Boling.
