David Lee Counts, age 74 of Stewart, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Daniel Medders officiating.
The Counts family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
David entered this life on September 5, 1944 in Crooked Creek, WV, son to the late Charles and Della Vernatter Counts. David worked in heavy construction for 46 years, was a member of the local 324 operating engineers, and local 327 international brotherhood of teamsters. David had a passion for hunting, fishing, shooting and wood working.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shirleen Dee Fielder Counts; sons, Carl Raphael Counts,David Bryon Counts; daughters, Rhonda Lea Flowers, Carlitta Rae Sorrells, Alisha Kae Westerman; and sister, Lois Jean Counts. David also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
