Sara Thweatt Simpson, age 95, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at her home in Clarksville.
A memorial service celebrating Sara's life will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Her family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Sara entered into this life on February 25, 1923 in Dickson, Tennessee, daughter to Lee Verlee Deason and Blanche Schmittou Deason. She was retired from a longtime career in the Clarksville Banking Industry. Sara loved to read and enjoyed watching Titans football. She was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Thweatt and her second husband, Levi Simpson. Survivors include her daughter, Camille Whitney (Michael), grandchildren, Amanda Franklin, Ryan Whitney, and Jonah Whitney, and her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kendall Franklin.
