Mrs. Mildred Louise Sugg, age 83 of Erin, TN, passed away on October 5, 2017 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Moody and Rev. Carlton officiating. Burial will follow in Lockhart Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
Mildred entered this life on November 17, 1933 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Rodney Earl and Ollie Lee Alsobrooks Brooks. Mildred attended Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a lifelong resident of Erin, TN.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Sugg, and brothers, Melvin Brooks,and Robert Brooks.
Survivors include her son, Barry Sugg (Brenda); daughters, Karen Hill (Jay), Diane Kiser (Brett); brother, Roscoe Brooks; sisters, Thelma Felts, Edith Adams, and Evelyn Burgess. Mildred also leaves behind five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Sugg, Andrew Carter, Junior Brooks, Eddie Felts, Jonathan Martin, David Burgess, Jeff Adams, and Mike Wyatt.
