Nave Funeral Home

Nave Funeral Home is committed to providing the highest level of care and compassion to the communities of Houston County and surrounding areas. We have made a reputation of exceeding the expectations of the families, our friends, in our tight-knit community.

Founded in 1926 by William Herman Wiseman, a State Senator, County Judge, and local businessman, the funeral home was operated as Wiseman Funeral Home until 1964.

In 1964, Eldrige (E.R.) Nave, along with wife Doris, sons Larry and Tony, and daughter Rissa, moved to Erin and acquired the business and appropriately renamed the establishment Nave Funeral Home. In addition, they added a firm in nearby Clarksville and acquired McReynolds Funeral Home in the 1970's to become McReynolds-Nave Funeral Home. A son-in-law, Ed Larson, also joined the firms in the 1980's.

The Nave-Larson family continues to operate Nave Funeral Home and McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home to carry on the tradition of care and compassion your families have come to expect over the years.
